Black Immigration Network postpones April kinship conference

The Black Immigration Network has canceled its 2018 Kinship Assembly, scheduled for later this month in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The organization did not give a reason for the postponement. In an unsigned news release, Black Immigration Network thanked those who worked to organize the event.

The Black Immigration Network announced in March that it would host four conferences—one scheduled for St. Paul—to develop a strategy over President Donald Trump’s assaults on black immigrant rights.

BIN did not disclose the other three conference locations.
